Working with the Librarians at the Monrovia Public Library, Oak Crest provides ad-hoc classes for K-6 grade students and their families. We extract DNA from strawberries, check out bugs and other creepy-crawlies under our microscopes, explore the art of the dollar bill, and even play with lasers. Most Sci-Labs take place in the Public Library, but sometimes we move down to the Oak Crest teaching lab so we can put on lab coats and do messy experiments.
