The rough carpentry efforts continued unabated this week on multiple fronts. Rectangular openings in the plywood roof for HVAC ducts and returns were framed inside and on-roof platforms for the heavy equipment were built and mounted. More seismic straps were added all over the buildings. Inside the main buildings on ground level, structural purlins  and ceiling joists were installed (see photo). The crew us doing an amazing job: alone raising the large 4×14 lumber to the high ceilings is a daunting undertaking! This is the last major structural phase in the main buildings.
