Much has been achieved in the past week. Purlins, beams, and plywood have been replaced to add structural support and integrity to the roof, and microlam doublers are being added to the high roof rafters. Seismic ties are being attached to trusses and masonry work is ongoing. One major effort was the completion of the new structural steel columns: 3500 psi concrete was poured at the column footings and the temporary supports were removed today (see photo). Now that the roof membrane has been removed, additional plywood has been identified for replacement.
