It’s a party! On a very hot Friday afternoon, staff and researchers arduously removed nails and staples from wooden joists in select parts of the buildings. These cleanup efforts are in anticipation of sandblasting in the week of 9/7 to clean up the old wood. The exposed, natural wood will give the facility a clean, modern, industrial look once completed.
