This is the 30th blog chronicling the development of our new facility, and the end is in sight. I hope and expect there to be only five more in this series, and then we should be our of Pasadena and in Monrovia! In accordance with this ambitious timeline, we still have a lot of work to do. The plumbers completed the connection of a new, larger water service pipe to the City meter, and concrete was poured to seal it all in. Electrical rough-in and installation of infrastructure such as mounting fixtures for lighting and the large transformers is ongoing. The electrical crew is scrambling to stay ahead of the drywall team that closing off the walls. At the same time the insulation crew is busy filling all the walls and ceilings with a sea of recycled insulation material (see photo): Amazing how this dampens the sound. Next week is going to a big one!
