Now that the building is sealed from the elements and the sandblasting of the interior is finished, the many trades could go back to work in earnest. The rough plumbing is all but completed, including the water/drain, natural gas, compressed air, and HVAC condensate lines. The electrician team are locating the lighting and high voltage outlet boxes and are running conduit (see photo). This is still expected to take a while given the complexity of our electrical system. The painters sealed all the exposed metalwork that had been sandblasted and are preparing the interior block walls for painting. The roof ladders, railings, and platforms have been installed making it easy to get from one roof to another. The mechanical crew has started running ductwork and the roof platforms have been covered with sheet metal in anticipation of the units’ arrival. It’s all go!
