A sadly obvious choice of topic is how COVID-19 testing works. What does this qPCR thing do? Why does it take this long to get a result? Why is it this complicated? and many other questions. Here we cover the process of RNA extraction and PCR for the diagnosis of COVID-19. This is the process we have used at Oak Crest during our clinical study designed to keep our lab running safely and responsibly!
