Caltech
The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is a long-term local partner. Together, Oak Crest and Caltech have founded the Summer Research Connection (SRC) and are conducting collaborative research in environmental science and microbiology.
CDC
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is a long-time collaborator in HIV prevention research, including the NIH Integrated Preclinical/Clinical Program (IPCP) grant.
Cedars-Sinai
Cedars-Sinai is a nonprofit academic healthcare organization serving the diverse Los Angeles community and beyond. Along with caring for patients, Cedars-Sinai is a hub for biomedical research and a training center for future physicians and other healthcare professionals. Oak Crest is collaborating with clinicians at Cedars-Sinai to investigate how bacterial biofilms are implicated in chronic sinusitis.
CSU Channel Islands
Part of the California State University System, California State University, Channel Islands is the location of the Amgen Biotech Experience distribution center serving Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles County secondary schools.
CHLA
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) has been named the best children’s hospital in California and among the best in the nation for clinical excellence. Oak Crest is collaborating with clinicians at CHLA to investigate the role of bacterial biofilms in middle ear infections.
Citrus College
A local community college, Citrus College is an key resource for our pregraduate programs, among others, providing a deep student pool of high diversity, especially underrepresented groups in the sciences
Fullerton College
A local community college, Fullerton College is the Orange County distribution center for the Amgen Biotech Experience, an innovative science education program that provides teacher professional development, teaching materials, and research-grade equipment and supplies to secondary schools.
The Huntington
The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens: The Huntington’s botanical gardens cover 120 acres and showcase plants from around the world. Oak Crest researchers use the gardens as an outdoor laboratory to explore the presence of antimicrobial compounds in plants and soil in efforts to discover new therapeutic agents for the treatment of disease.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is a local collaborating institution and the lead organization on our joint NASA Icy Worlds grant.

The University of Southern California is a collaborator on multiple service projects, among those an NIH grant with the Dickman Lab on synaptic research in the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster with the Imaging Core at Oak Crest.
